I’ve had it on my newborn photographer to do list to start working on my bucket poses. I really try to nail one pose at a time, sometimes it only takes a couple of tries, sometimes it takes years. Luckily the bucket pose wasn’t as difficult as I was thinking. It can get overwhelming to feel like you have to be able to do 7 perfect beanbag poses and beautifully pose in props. But three years into this business, I have finally gotten a routine down that works almost every time and I am finishing in under two hours. In the early days it was taking three to four and I wasn’t accomplishing near as much in those sessions. So Kingston’s little bucket pose turned out exactly how I wanted, he belongs to a very sweet and beautiful family. I was thrilled to work with them.
