Hunter Grace…this is actually the second girl Hunter I have photographed. Such a cute and spunky name! Somewhere toward the middle of the session Hunter’s dad told me that he used to live in my house. It was a TCU rental for many years before we bought it and it has had many residents. I thought that was just crazy, so I had to bring them in and show them all the renovations and updates we have done. This was a three month shoot, Hunter was pretty good at holding her head up on her tummy so we got lots of different set ups.

Jack’s session started out a little crazy. The power went out in the studio leaving us carrying all props and equipment into my living room to shoot in there. My house wasn’t even sort of clean. The parents were so cool about it and everything turned out fabulous. Not ideal, but sometimes you have to just go with it.

Maddox jumped on the baby’s first year train at 3 months instead of newborn. We also got plenty of cute shots of big brother Markham. We actually just did Maddox’s six month shoot which shows how far behind I am on getting these blogs up. Love this picture perfect family and really enjoy photographing them!

Kingston Newborn {Dallas newborn photographer}

Kingston is a special little client. After photographing his birth, I was so excited to do his newborn portraits. He was a tricky little guy. He was one of those that wiggled and squirmed and had a really hard time getting settled. I couldn’t touch him or adjust him without him noticing. Fellow newborn photographers, I know you know what I’m talking about. Even with that strong will, the photos are so lovely! The turquoise guitar shot, was a very important shot to get. A shot that mom and dad had been planning way before Kingston entered the world. I was stressed because composite shots like that are hard enough with babies that are sleeping like a rock, but with a tight wrap and a lot of patience, I was able to use three images to create the final product.

I’ve photographed these love birds for quite some time now. When I used to just take on anything that came my way, I did their engagement session with their dog Presley. Then when they found out they were pregnant, they booked me for their maternity session, also with Miss Presley in tow. Now baby Charlotte is a month old and we just did a beautiful bluebonnet mini session with, of course, Presley too!
