Little Mila! How very exciting this was to photograph one of my best friend’s daughters! Mila’s mom Jenny and I went to Texas Tech together, we were Kappa Deltas together and have this amazingly tight group of girls that we keep in touch with every day on group text and see each other as much as we possibly can!

Jenny was the last of our group of friends to have a baby, so we were all over the moon! newborn-photographers-fort-worth copynewborn-photographers-dallas copynewborn-photographer-fort-worth copynewborn-photographer-dallas copy

Mila’s dad, also a great friend, went to high school with me in Arlington. He went to Baylor, so we had to get a BU shot for him!

Fun story: Lauren, my assistant, was not able to be at this shoot. She runs most of the business for me, but I also totally rely on her to make my newborn sessions smooth. This shot where the baby is propped up on their hands is called the froggy. Normally I pose the baby and Lauren takes the shots for me. Since this is a composite image, hands are never taken off the baby. So Josh, Mila’s dad, actually took the froggy shots for me. He did such a great job and they used that image for the birth announcement!

So many cute ones, I could have posted them all, but I must resist so blogs aren’t ridiculous long. Congrats Jenny and Josh!
